Suicide Prevention Consultancy and Training for your Workplace

Suicide prevention is a workplace issue. It has long been a taboo subject leading us to feel too frightened or uncomfortable to talk about it, but current UK Government data suggests that 1 in 4 of us will experience thoughts of suicide and one in 13 will attempt suicide.

When we translate these numbers into the context of our workplaces, it becomes impossible to ignore that suicide will be impacting our workforces, and that makes it every employer’s business.

My consultancy and training approach is to bring the topic of suicide out into the open, to normalise it as a part of human experience and offer proactive steps to increase your skills and confidence to offering meaningful, life-saving support to those who are struggling.

Suicide First Aid® is the only suicide prevention education programme assured by City & Guilds and the Royal Society for Public Health. I hold the RSPH Level 4 Award in Suicide First Aid, and am qualified to deliver both the half-day and full day SFA programmes.
